Sangre de Toro, the official wine of Spain National Football Team until 2024
Sangre de Toro, a leading Spanish wine brand, debuts as an official
sponsor of Spain’s National Football Team. By aligning its image with La Roja, a team
whose colours, origins, and values it shares, Sangre de Toro will contribute to promoting
the Spanish way of life and traditions around the world.
The global wine brand, owned by Bodegas Torres, and the Spanish Football Federation
(RFEF) have signed an agreement, making Sangre de Toro the official sponsor of the
men’s, women’s, and under-21 national football teams from 2021 to 2024. Four intense
seasons of guaranteed excitement for fans and supporters, including two European
Championships, a World Cup, and the Olympic Games.
Elvira Andrés, RFEF vice president, stated: ‘We have many things in common and we can
unite synergies. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a long relationship and many successes
we will be able to toast for”.

said Sara Sanabria, the brand’s marketing director, ‘Football is about passion, effort and
teamwork. These are values that we strongly identify with as a brand’. She continued,
‘This collaboration is about the joy of football, about celebrating life and toasting victories
surrounded by friends and family, because both football and wine bring people together
and build friendships’.
One of the first actions Sangre de Toro will carry out as the official sponsor of Spain’s
National Football Team is the launch of a special edition wine in honour of La Roja, which
will be available this summer. In addition, the brand will organise prize draws – on social
media or through point-of-sale activations – where participants can win tickets to team
matches as well as exclusive experiences.
